About us:
Ronald and Sandra, both born and raised in the Netherlands, have changed tack since 2021. After a one-and-a-half-year renovation, the dream called Serena vista became a reality in 2023.
A dream in which Sandra, after more than 20 years, slowly relinquishes therapeutic practice in the Netherlands and sets it up again in Portugal.
After working part-time at KLM for over 26 years, this was the time for her to ‘choose’ Having worked at KLM, Sandra knows better than anyone how to delight guests with top-notch service. Her ever-present smile and good humour feel like a warm blanket to the many guests who have now become acquainted with ‘the face’ of Serena Vista.
Ronald has his background in sales & marketing, purchasing and logistics and is a driving force behind the ‘organisation’ Serena Vista. But also a host who understands how guests experience a wonderful stay.

Here, our guests can enjoy the serene tranquillity and spectacular views over the valley. The mansion has a total of 3 luxurious, spacious suites and a very comfortable, fully equipped studio.
